September / “Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament”!
September is probably the busiest month for events and festivals! Townsend kicks off it's fall festival! Local area high school (nationally ranked) football teams start their schedule! There are concerts, fishing tournaments, the fall rod run, conventions, festivals, events and more!
August’s Events / “Vietnam Veterans Parade”!
In August there are a number of live concerts, labor day sales and the annual Welcome Home to the Vietnam Veterans Parade! The Old Mill is also host to the Annual Smoky Mountain Corn Hole Tourament!
Events for July / 4th of July Celebrations!
July is peak season in the Smokies and there is a lot going on during this time! Starting out the month with huge Holiday celebrations and tributes including many large area fireworks displays! Wears Farm park is host to the SEAA Girls Fast Pitch World Series Softball Tourament!

January Events / “Wilderness Wildlife Week”
January features a kick off to many of the area's winter activities and festivals! For a week in January Pigeon Forge hosts the Wilderness and Wildlife Week! There are experts who take visitors on guided hikes! Classes are given on photography, painting and music! There is also an AppalachiaFest Concert featuring mountain and blue grass music! February Events / “Annual Saddle Up Tribute”
February is full of things that are going on, from the winter activities to the annual "Saddle Up" musical tribute to the American West! Events October / “Natures Turning of the Leaves”!
October is highlighted by natures annual Fall Foliage Show! But there is also a host of other events too! There is a Southern Gospel Celebration going on up at Dollywood. The Pigeon Forge Rotary Club has their annual Craft Fair! And there are Halloween Trick or Treating at the Community Center just to name a few of the things you can find happening!
November’s Events / Veteran’s Day Parade!
November finishes up the Autumn Foilage Show and is the start of the affordable Off Season finishing up the month with Thanksgiving! There are still many events and festivals happening in the area in November! The Harvest Festival is on along with Veteran's Day celebrations and parade!
Events December / “Winter Festival of Lights”!
December starts the "deal" season when everything is on sale! Winter is coming and there is tons to do in the mountains! December kicks off a whole host of Holiday Events ~ The most famous of these is the Winter Festival of Lights! Ride the trolley and see over 5 million lights!
